About
HanJan Artisan
Hannah Janowicz (she/they) struggles to write bios because she fancies herself a chameleon… in a totally non-lizard person kind of way.

She is a Midwest-based mixed-media artist and performer, known for absurdism, upcycling, and expressive eyebrows. Her work, showcased across theatre, dance, cosplay, and the haunt industry, champions innovation, affordability, and sustainability, proving that creativity is accessible to all, and can drive meaningful change. Hannah’s passion for a more fun and ethical journey from point A to point B invites us all to rethink how we move through the world—with purpose, joy, and responsibility.

She holds a Bachelor's degree from Ball State University, in Public Communication and Theatrical Studies (with an emphasis in Arts Administration and Advocacy). For the last decade, she has worked in non-profit, healthcare, and human resources, with relentless creative pursuits on the side.

She credits all creative successes to the junk drawer in your home, the shapes made from cumulus clouds, and every unconventional challenge on Project Runway.
